#MNSEC2023 event is underway

The concept of cybersecurity involves protecting individuals, organizations, and nations from various cyber threats that pose significant risks to national security, economic stability, public welfare, and technological infrastructure. In the era of rapid technological advancement, understanding and addressing the ever-evolving landscape of cyber threats require a well-equipped, knowledgeable, and legally resilient environment with comprehensive technical solutions.

The speed of development in the field of information technology has led to an increase in cyber incidents and a simultaneous transformation in their nature and complexity. To achieve the highest efficiency in safeguarding against potential threats and mitigating vulnerabilities, it is crucial to continuously enhance expertise, adapt to technological changes, and stay informed about emerging cyber threats.

Hence, the "National Computer Emergency Response Team," known as MNCERT/CC, annually organizes the "MNSEC" cybersecurity event as a strategic measure to promote cybersecurity awareness, preparedness, and cooperation among professionals and organizations in Mongolia. MNCERT/CC consists of skilled professionals in the field of national cybersecurity, representing both governmental and non-governmental entities.

The recent "MNSEC2023" cybersecurity event was successfully held at the Shangri-La Ulaanbaatar Hotel, featuring insightful discussions on relevant topics, including cyber threats to Mongolia, the latest trends in cybersecurity, and real-life cases illustrating information security challenges. The event aimed to bring together leading experts in cybersecurity from Mongolia and abroad to share knowledge and experiences.

Participants included the Communications and Information Technology Authority (CITA) and the Cybersecurity Advisory Office, contributing to the exchange of information and collaboration in the field of cybersecurity.
