The cybersecurity professionals participated in the ITACTIC training

                The Cyber Security Council, in collaboration with the Ministry of Defense, Cyber Security, and Communication, and the General Staff of the Armed Forces, conducted a training session with the ITACTIC team on cyber threats and responses at the National Computer Emergency Response Team and Cyber Security Coordination Center (MNCERT/CC) from January 12-14. Six teams with a total of 63 participants attended. Cyber security experts from various sectors, including defense, time, energy, law, and six public organizations, gathered at the "Tavantolgoi" training center to enhance their capabilities and exchange strategies.

 

                These training sessions, focusing on cyber threats, challenges, incident response, acquiring response strategies, and enhancing the security of critical information systems, have been in operation since 2023. In other words, Mongolia is actively working to develop expertise in dealing with cyber threats and ensuring national security, engaging professionals in law, technology, and assistance centers.

 

                The Cyber Security Council is actively involved in directing and coordinating efforts to protect against cyber threats, providing professional advice and assistance. The nation is committed to consolidating its cybersecurity measures to defend against cyber threats, especially as internet usage and digital activities continue to grow rapidly.

 

                The collaborative efforts aim to create a secure cyber environment, protect national security, and meet the increasing demand for collective action. The Cyber Security Council is dedicated to leadership, coordination, and disseminating information to ensure effective responses to cyber threats. Training seminars and workshops, such as those provided by ITACTIC, play a crucial role in educating and preparing professionals in this field. 

 

                The Cyber Security Council's department of cybersecurity works collectively under unified leadership, focusing on coordinating and disseminating information, and is responsible for tasks such as developing human capacity, organizing seminars twice a year on securing classified information in all five government information systems and critical infrastructure protection. ITACTIC organizes training sessions regularly for each quarter.

The Cyber Security Council receives information about information security incidents, phishing attempts, malware and vulnerabilities.
