“Cyber governance and trend (cybersecurity)”

This joint training course was organized by The National Academy of Governance, and The School of Information and Communication Technology of The Mongolian University of Science and Technology.

Purpose of Training

Providing knowledge on cyber security, legal regulations, and organizational practices related to information security to professionals responsible for ensuring the cyber security of state organizations, and supporting the implementation, operation, management, and maintenance of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS), enabling them to effectively implement measures to address cyber threats and conduct cyber training during incidents.

Training Objectives

  • To study the laws, regulations, and practices related to cyber security, legal regulations, and information security management.

  • To enable understanding and implementation of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS).

  • To implement measures to address cyber threats during cyber incidents.

Training Outcomes

  • Researching current cybersecurity law framework in Mongolia.

  • Understanding Information Security Management Systems.

  • Formulating and implementing measures to address cyber threats.

Training Content (16 hours)

  • Current state of cybersecurity in Mongolia, Cybersecurity Law, and regulations (4 hours)

  • ISO27001 standard (9 hours)

  • Cyber incident handling (3 hours)

The Cyber Security Council receives information about information security incidents, phishing attempts, malware and vulnerabilities.
